Founded by A. Xandrea “Drea” Shane Smith, Art of Mantra brings together spiritual inquiry, education, sound, storytelling, movement, performance, visual art, cultural experience, publishing, collaboration, and emerging creative technologies.

It is not defined by one medium, one program, or one expression.

Our Foundation

Art of Mantra began as a metaphysical school of conscious thought and creative movement. Its spiritual and educational foundation remains central to everything the institution is becoming.

The School is rooted in the study of consciousness, awareness, recognition, reality, intentional living, and the Sacred Trinity of:

What We Believe

Art of Mantra was founded on the belief that art is more than entertainment, decoration, or content.

Art is one of humanity’s oldest forms of knowledge.

Before formal classrooms, people learned through stories, rhythm, ceremony, symbols, movement, music, image, and shared experience.

Art has always helped communities preserve memory, communicate truth, make meaning, express the unseen, and recognize themselves more clearly.
